The Beach Club
The Beach Club is the anchor of the new Tropicos Development in Texas City, Texas. Building on the success of Lagoon Fest, The Lagoon Development Company is creating a transformative entertainment and leisure project that brings the excitement of resort-style amenities and services to the 22 million-gallon Crystal Clear Lagoon at Lago Mar. The next development phase includes the Beach Club, the Tiki Island Bar, the Cabana Bar, and a new administration building for the complex. McLemore Luong is providing architecture, interior design, FF&E design, and procurement services.
The Beach Club will be the heart of the development, featuring restaurants, bars, cafes, retail, a private club, and event space. The 8,000-square-foot central kitchen will be the backbone of the food and beverage service around the entire 12-acre lagoon area with phone ordering and beachside delivery services. The third-floor private club will have unparalleled views of the lagoon and beaches, offering a full menu sit down restaurant, private soaking area overlooking the lagoon, and a private feature bar.
A place to enjoy live DJ sets, house-crafted cocktails, and more, Tropicos will offer residents and guests a unique staycation opportunity full of entertainment.
